Qiyuan, Nevo, Q05: what the model is actually called

Qiyuan (启源) is a Changan sub-brand. On export markets it's called Nevo, so the Changan Qiyuan Q05 and the Changan Nevo Q05 are the same car. In Uzbekistan, since June 2026, it's sold as the Changan UNI-E, and in the UK it will launch in 2027 under the name Changan E06.

Which Changan Q05 should you buy? The 405 Air is plenty for the city — owners report about 13 kWh per 100 km in urban driving. For Moscow and the surrounding region, the 506 is the better call: an EV's range drops 30–50% in winter. The lidar trim isn't worth paying extra for in Russia — the assistant's navigation features are tied to Chinese maps.

Customs clearance for the Changan Q05: what it costs

An electric vehicle clears customs under a separate scheme: a 15% duty on the customs value, 22% VAT, an excise tax based on power, a customs fee and the recycling fee. The recycling fee is based on the motor's 30-minute power rating: for the Q05 that's about 73 hp against an 80 hp threshold, so for an individual it's the reduced rate — 3,400 rubles for a car under 3 years old.
